Angela Malone
Born in Brooklyn, New York, Angela is a multi-disciplinary artist with many years of teaching and exhibiting experience whose practice is firmly based in the genre of figurative portraiture. She began working in stone and clay during her time at UCA, Canterbury and after a period studying in Vienna’s prestigious Kunst Akademie, won a Fattorini Prize for her work in pewter. Her work has been displayed at the British Museum, Kowalski Gallery and National Museum of Wales and in 2008 she was the recipient of the Niagara Falls Prize for Excellence in the Medallic medium.
Since then she has been awarded the Judge’s Choice winning prize (chosen by Tracey Emin) at the Turner Fringe festival.
Angela’s work is held in Private Collections across the globe and in Public Collection in Germany.
