The Margate School and Thanet Coast Project are proud to celebrate 20 years of Thanet Coastal Wardens working with the local community to protect coastal wildlife. In support and celebration, we have collaboratively curated a workshopping event guided by The Margate School’s Visual Communication and Design graduate, Erin Byrne. The workshop focussed on producing alternative frames for the artwork of Northdown Primary School children. The frames utilise a variety of discarded materials and those found at the beach, with a focus on exploration and experimentation. Works produced during the workshop will be exhibited at The Margate School Gallery and the Mayor of Margate, Cllr Jack Packman will be opening the show at 11:30am on Saturday 16th November.
