Learn to process film in this dedicated short course with Dominic Rose.

Photographic chemicals are included but participants need to bring their own exposed black and white film (up to two 35mm films may be processed, or one 120 format).

We stock HP5 black and white film which can be bought from the School for £7.50 a roll.

You will learn the process for developing your black and white film, a good introduction to the magic of analogue photography.

Using Patterson film tanks and standard photographic chemistry you will develop your own film, either 35mm or 120 film. Covering the loading of the film onto the film spiral, mixing the chemistry, adjusting temperature, processing, washing and drying.  Suitable for complete beginners or those in need of a refresher.
