YOU ME US is the Graduation Show from this year’s Visual Communication students at The Margate School. Having experimented with a range of new mediums and techniques over the past year the show focuses on IDENTITY - with reference to pop culture, consumerism, faith and a sense of place.

I’ve really enjoyed getting back to basics and playing with texture and I love the tactileness of it all! I’ve been putting paint to canvas and experimenting with different colour palettes, finding gorgeous old retro magazines and making collages and doing screen prints too.

My work explores my background as an Architect and love for the wide-open landscapes of Thanet and Kent. My approach combines painting, duplicating, printing and reproducing images whilst letting incidental distortion, patternation and abstraction inform the outcome.
