First month on the new Visual Communication Course
Design, Society, Nature started in October and is well underway, with students having completed their first module on Visual Language with tutor Tony Pritchard.
They have been exploring the fundamental principles of visual communication and gaining an understanding of how form & colour are used to construct meaning and communicate. With practical workshops experimenting with the essential components of visual language, from shapes and colour, to symbols and composition. Alongside their practical sessions, Katarina Dimitrijevic had been teaching Critical Studies & Design History to the students, informing their choices, methods, and ways of thinking.
The students will be moving on to their Typography module next, looking into their various forms, historical contexts, hierarchies, and their interaction within a space and its elements.
Applications for our Visual Communication course: Design, Society, Nature will be opening on Nov 29. You can find out more here
