Studios for hire at The Margate School

We have 3 studio spaces to fill that would be suitable for a variety of creative practitioners who are looking to become part of a creative community in the centre of Margate.


Studios for hire:


Lockable studio—4x4.5m—£400 p/m



2 studio spaces in a shared pod— 2.4x2.4m each—£190 each p/m


By becoming a studio resident you will become part of TMS’ community, where we encourage collective learning, sustainable practices, and peer support. You can see more about our current studio holders here.


Studio holders get full access to FabLab facilities included in their rent, facilities include:

  • Sewing Machines

  • Wood workshop

  • Lasercutting

  • 3D Printing

  • Soldering

  • Fabric Dying (BioLab)

  • Basic Screenprinting

  • Letterpress

  • High-Performance Computer Suite + full Adobe Creative Cloud

  • VR equipment

  • Discounted dark room hire (From January)

  • Communal meeting space / day project space


Technical assistance is available on these facilities and inductions onto equipment can be arranged with our Studio Manager. Studio residents also benefit from discounted access to our short courses, workshops, and venue hire—alongside discounts from local businesses.
