Volunteering 3 hours on a Saturday (or two, or three, or more...)

The Art&Design Saturday Club connects Young People aged 13-16 with local creatives for alternative art and design education. Through group projects and exciting workshops, we encourage collaboration & experimentation, empowering Young People with the skills to be adaptable and resilient, growing their confidence to forge pathways into further education and creative careers.

We hope to grow upon the success of our pilot program by extending the session timetable to 30 weeks, inviting more local creatives to deliver guest workshops, and inspiring more Young People to pursue a creative future.
We are thrilled to be part of the National Saturday Club network that has been running since 2009. It provides 13-to-16 year olds with the opportunity to study subjects they love for free and has a proven track record of making a difference in young people's lives. This is a unique opportunity in Kent with an exciting program of workshops, tutors, and trips.

If you would like to sign up a Young Person aged 13-16 to join the 2024-25 Art&Design Saturday Club you can do so on the National Saturday Club website. Applications for the next cohort close at Midnight on September 29th 2024 with an intended start date of October 5th.
